“When I grow up I want to be a…”

 

It isn’t hard to imagine any child, past or present in this country, lighting up with starry eyes as they complete this very familiar phrase. Unfortunately and far too often, so many of them have gone on to see these wishes and dreams unfulfilled. However, the turn of this generation has given rise to a new set of teens and pre-teens beaming with a certain power and focus. They seem to have the precise tenacity that it takes to see these dreams fully realized. Many of them are taking this world by storm and some can hardly even wait until they are “fully grown” to begin taking action! From the Mark Zuckerbergs and the Farrah Grays of our time, we have witnessed their power and marvel with gratitude that they were way ahead of their time!

 

This documentary pulls focus on five very gifted and talented young individuals of this generation, who are not afraid to step up and proclaim what they want in life; and they begin right away taking the necessary steps to make sure that their goals are attained.

 

We probe to understand the difference between the youth that seem to be numbed and somewhat desensitized by too much video game programming and social media escapism; and the youth that seem to be so determined and on a mission as though they are wise old souls with a second chance at life contained in a brand new body!  They have a clear eye on the direction they want to take in their life, and what’s most important ...despite the obstacles they may face, they are very tenacious, diligent and extremely confident in the pursuit of their vision.
