La Rivers embraces storytelling by bringing a heightened self awareness to the acting experience on stage, and in film, in an open, playful and collaborative way. After completing the Acting Conservatory and Director's Practicum at Yale Drama School, La is grateful to Marishka Phillips for the invitation to join the cast of ‘Love Always, Eartha’ in the role of Anna Mae Keith. A world of appreciation to Dierdra McDowell & Eden Entertainment for creating a story and providing the environment where our true art flourished. She thanks her coaches for their guidance, and appreciates being surrounded by a cast who shared with her their intuition, imagination, and skill. La Rivers has appeared in 'The Gift' with Charles Dutton and Jamie Hector, 'Dirty Laundry' with Rockmond Dunbar and Jenifer Lewis, and recently completed the film ‘Love for Passion’ in the role of ex-WNBA star Janine Love. La Rivers looks forward to continuing projects with the Eden Entertainment family.
